This latest release was just as good as the previous release. Dom's crew had a very formidable adversary that was well organized, and had far reaching connections, including the FBI. Despite their adversary's commendable organization, Dom's crew had the upper hand through strong familial ties, and improvisation. Letty's re-introduction was well crafted, and plausible, but still heart breaking somewhat because of her condition, but Dom's strong commitment to family made Letty's re-introduction worthwhile. Action, there was plenty of it. This time it was nice to Diesel and Rock team up against a rather large man that occupied the space of three people. The scene on the highway was very well directed, and the pace of the film was just right, no lag.

Although the highway scene made my heart race, I really liked the final scene of the movie with the cargo plane. There was so much going on in that scene. There was about three fights happening at the same time on the plane. Outside of the plane, the rest of the crew was trying to prevent it from taking off, all while Dom and Hobbs and everyone else was inside the plane. How much of our human bonds are based on the goods and services that we have in common? Do some people become friends because they enjoy Pizza Hut instead of Papa John's? Or do we befriend certain people because they are trendy and fashionable? The items that we purchase are not simply goods that are necessities for subsistence; the goods that we purchase are indicators of lifestyle. The opulent class buy goods that indicate their stratum in the economic hierarchy, and the same applies for the not so opulent class. Regardless of class, what we buy sends signals to the rest of society, as to what our hobbies are, our favorite sports team, and whether we are punk rock or hip-hop. The Joneses makes the point how the fascination with material items can compromise the integrity of the bonds people form, and jeopardize the formation new bonds.
Perhaps it is part of our evolutionary penchant to witness hero archetypes contend for supremacy in strength, for strength means advantage for a species to claim resources for survival. The human instinct, or drive to see boxers, wrestlers, and super heroes in this case, fight, ostensibly satisfies the yearning to witness a skillful display of strength on a basal primitive level that acknowledges ruthlessness as fundamental for advantage. In a tribal setting, if Batman was a leader of a tribe marching into battle, and if Wolverine was the leader of the opposing tribe, who would be the better leader or the likely victor ?

Comic book fans will recognize Batman's ability to stratergize, fight, and think critically, which indeed are great leadership qualities. Batman's achellie's heal is that he is absolutely human. Wolverine istemperamental, near indestructible,and also knows how to fight. Bothheroes seem to havesuitable qualities for survival, but which hero would have the advantage in securing resources for his tribe to survive and thrive?
If the aim of Star Trek is to boldly go where no one has gone before, then it has failed. Star Trek: Into Darkness, like its previous release, has gone into the category of great action adventure films that must be revisited, simply torelive the suspense, the humor, and scenarios that seem to guarantee certain death for our beloved Star Trek heroes, but somehow fateallows them the contrary.
There was no lag, and the plot didnot suffer from attention deficit disorder. It was focused, and it stayed the course. In simpler terms, the pace of the film flowed with minor obstruction.

Amidst the complex action scenes, and all the suspense,the film managed to showcase how much the crew really cared about each other, exalting sacrifice, commitment, loyalty, and love, as indelible, and praiseworthy virtues that creates strong bonds, despite the differences of race and species. Beautifully directed, produced, and written, Star Trek: Into Darknessis jammed packed with action from the begining to end, but the highlight of the film is Mr. Spock showing is human side. Awesome. Determined not only to have the money, JayGatsby spentyears hosting lavish parties, hoping that Daisy, the womanhe fell in love with during his years as a soldier, would attend, so he could also have the girl. Gatsby'swealth was a result of his ambition, but themansion, the car collection, the lifestyle, it was all for Daisy.
Was Daisy worthy of Gatsby? She seemed like the type of person who lived for the moment, and who wanted the excitement of love, without assuming the concomitant responsibilities. Gatsby was sincerely loving, while Daisy was sincerely materialistic. Her joculardisposition is tailored for festivity, butbeyond that, it is difficult to say she is woman of substance.

In the 1974 releaseof the film, there is onescene not includedin thisrecent release, that clearlyprovided a clue of Daisy's orientation as to what the properrelation of the poor and rich should be pertaining to marriage. " Rich girls don't marry poor boys." Did Daisy really love Gatsby? It does not seem that Daisy can love a man without factoring in his economic status.
The film did not lag. It was entertaining, and being bolstered by shimmering production,The Great Gatsby, a film based on the roaring twenties had a touch of blingwith hip-hop musicin some scenes. A little strange, but it worked somewhat. On a final note, Jay Gatsby was such an emotionally well gathered character it was difficult to feel how much he loved Daisy. I'll give it a 75. Iron Man3 delivered humor, action, and the sacred element ofevery summer blockbuster, incandescent special effects. The film was adolescent but notpejoratively; the ominous, and serious impression portrayed in the trailer was not matched in the film. The witty and amusing humor shifted the balance of the film, and undermined the serious threat of terrorismposed by the Mandarin, who was scripted in a fashion, puritanical comic book fans will likely find questionable, although the essence of the character as it was scripted, was an allegoryfor political theater, and the creation of fabled enemies by mastermind(s) plotting in the shadows.
The action scenes were relatively mind blowing with one drawback, Tony Stark was not suited as Iron Man as often as I would have liked. Throughout the film, it seemed, there was a gradual destruction ofTony Starks as Iron Man, ever-presentfrom the first major action scene to the last. Tony Stark struggled to stay suited as Iron Man. Indeed Stark will not be suited as Iron Man all the time, but in the major action scenes, it's pleasing to see superheroes assume their heroic character in their full heroic uniforms.

Was the thirdfilm a monumental ending to the Iron Man franchise? No, but it was satisfactory. There was enough action in the film to repel boredom, enough special effects to garner excitement out of moviegoers,and definitelymore than enough humor to attribute levity.For a blockbuster, and considering the very serious threats posed by the Mandarin, the pace of the film lacked urgency, and a story whichfeatured the Mandarinas the comic book intended would have been great.
