"Space...the final frontier", this particular Star Trek film has surpassed the frontiers of the preceding Star Trek films I have seen. Besides being exciting, funny, and emotional, Star Trek (2009), was explained quite well. When all the characters that we are familiar with, such as Scotty, and Dr. McCoy were introduced, it was like seeing old friends.

Seemingly, what distinguished this film from the previous films was the absence of lag. It seems like Abram's kept this in mind, and directed the film so that in every scene there was something essential and entertaining occurring. In the other Star Trek films that I have scene, I remember the lag, for at some point the pace of the film would slow down, and it would become slightly boring. Certainly, that is not the case in this film.

The casting was impeccable but William Shatner should of had a cameo .Even though detecting Eric Bana took some time on my part. It was difficult not to like the cast. My favorite was Simon Pegg as Scotty. With that said, it seems like this is a lightning in a bottle type casting. According metacritic.com the film received generally favorable reciews, rottentomatoes.com granted the film 195 fresh tomatoes to 9 rotten ones thus far. Awesome. I'll grade it a 95. Obsessed: Crazy

Official Site: www.areyouobsessed.com
Director(s): Steve Shill
Writer(s): David Loughery
Producer(s): William Packer

Starring: Idris Elba, Beyoncé Knowles, Ali Larter, Jerry O'Connell, Jerry O'Connell, Bruce McGill(IMDb). Rated-PG13. 105 minutes.

It all began when Lisa(Larter) and Derek(Elba) met in the elevator. After chatting briefly, Derek discovers Lisa is a temp, but later Derek also discovers Lisa has an obsessive character that has focused on capturing is affection by intruding into his life. From spying on Derek's telephone calls, to unwanted sexual advances , Lisa wanted Derek at any cost, even if it meant splitting him from his wife, but of course his wife felt differently.

Steady and slow but interesting, interesting but not extraordinary, Obsessed was simply entertaining. The story was predictable, and it could have benefited from a plot twists. There were no surprises to spark the the mind into amazement. Obsessed had an unappealing and ineffectual sex scene (if it could be considered that) that could have added a strong basis for conflict in the story, which could have also been the climax of the film. Notably this is a sanitized tale of fatal attraction, that features great acting that could have served the audience better with an R rating. This film was simply entertaining. I'll rate it a 72.
